Refund, Replacement & Claims Policy

FI50 ENGINEERED RESEARCH & SCIENCES LLC
Fi50 Research & Science

Effective Date: September 1, 2026
Last Updated: September 22, 2026

This Refund, Replacement & Claims Policy (“Policy”) governs returns, refunds, replacements, credits, cancellations, shipping claims, fulfillment errors, product-quality claims, and related remedies for products purchased from FI50 ENGINEERED RESEARCH & SCIENCES LLC, doing business as Fi50 Research & Science (“Fi50,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This Policy should be read together with Fi50’s Terms & Conditions, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and Privacy Policy, each of which is incorporated by reference where applicable.

By submitting an order through Fi50, the purchaser acknowledges this Policy and agrees that claims and requests will be handled according to its terms to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy limits or waives any right, remedy, warranty, duty, or liability that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude, limit, or waive.

01 — RESEARCH MATERIALS AND LIMITED RETURN ELIGIBILITY

Fi50 supplies laboratory research materials that may be sensitive to contamination, temperature, handling, storage conditions, tampering, sample integrity, and chain-of-custody conditions.

For quality-control, product-integrity, safety, contamination-prevention, and chain-of-custody reasons, Fi50 generally does not accept physical returns of research products that have been opened, unsealed, used, altered, transferred, diluted, reconstituted, combined with another material, improperly stored, contaminated, relabeled, repackaged, or otherwise compromised after delivery.

Once the integrity or chain of custody of a research material can no longer reasonably be verified, that material ordinarily cannot be returned to inventory or resold.

Authorization of a claim, refund, credit, or replacement does not necessarily mean Fi50 will require or permit physical return of the affected product.

02 — OPENED, UNSEALED, USED, OR TAMPERED PRODUCTS

Except for a qualifying product-quality claim under this Policy or where applicable law requires otherwise, Fi50 does not accept returns or ordinarily provide refunds or replacements when:

  • A tamper-evident seal has been broken.
  • A vial, bottle, container, package, or product has been opened.
  • Any portion of the contents has been removed.
  • Product contents have been altered, transferred, diluted, reconstituted, mixed, combined, or otherwise modified.
  • Product labeling has been removed, damaged, replaced, or altered.
  • The product has been improperly stored or handled.
  • The product has been contaminated or exposed to uncontrolled conditions after delivery.
  • The product has been transferred to another person or entity.
  • The original chain of custody can no longer reasonably be established.
  • The product has been used for a purpose prohibited by Fi50’s Terms & Conditions.

Opening a product as reasonably necessary for a properly documented independent laboratory quality investigation does not automatically invalidate a quality claim. However, sufficient evidence must exist to establish product identity, lot or batch information, storage history, sample preparation, testing methodology, and chain of custody.

03 — QUALIFYING CLAIMS

Fi50 will review properly submitted claims concerning:

  • Products damaged during transportation.
  • Missing products.
  • Incorrect products.
  • Incorrect quantities.
  • Material Fi50 fulfillment errors.
  • Material packaging defects existing at delivery.
  • Verified product-quality discrepancies under Section 06.
  • Orders that Fi50 cannot fulfill.
  • Other circumstances for which applicable law requires a remedy.

Approval of a claim is subject to reasonable verification.

Depending upon the circumstances and applicable law, an approved claim may be resolved by:

  • Replacement of the affected product.
  • Refund of the affected product price.
  • Store credit with the customer’s agreement.
  • Refund of other charges when required by applicable law.
  • Another appropriate remedy.

04 — STANDARD RESOLUTION FOR FULFILLMENT CLAIMS

For verified claims involving a damaged product, missing product, incorrect product, incorrect quantity, or material Fi50 fulfillment error, Fi50’s normal remedy is replacement of the affected product at no additional charge when replacement is commercially reasonable and inventory is available.

If replacement is unavailable, inappropriate under the circumstances, or the product has been discontinued, Fi50 may provide:

  • A monetary refund.
  • Store credit with the customer’s agreement.
  • Another appropriate remedy.

Where applicable law requires a monetary refund rather than replacement or store credit, Fi50 will provide the legally required refund.

A customer is not entitled to receive duplicate compensation for the same loss, including both a replacement and a monetary recovery for the same affected item, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

05 — SEVEN-DAY REPORTING PERIOD FOR VISIBLE OR READILY DISCOVERABLE ISSUES

Claims involving:

  • Visible shipping damage.
  • Missing products.
  • Incorrect products.
  • Incorrect quantities.
  • Damaged packaging.
  • Other readily discoverable shipping or fulfillment discrepancies

should be reported within seven (7) calendar days after confirmed delivery.

Claims should be submitted to:

info@fi50science.com

The claim should include, where applicable:

  • Customer name.
  • Order number.
  • Product name.
  • Product lot or batch number.
  • Description of the problem.
  • Photographs of the exterior shipping package.
  • Photographs of internal packaging.
  • Photographs of the affected product.
  • Photograph of the shipping label.
  • Photographs clearly showing damage or other discrepancy.
  • Any other information reasonably relevant to evaluating the claim.

Fi50 may request additional reasonable documentation necessary to investigate or verify a claim.

The seven-day reporting period is intended to preserve evidence while shipping, fulfillment, and product-integrity issues can still reasonably be investigated.

Nothing in this section shortens or eliminates a period or remedy that applicable law does not permit Fi50 to shorten or waive.

06 — PRODUCT-QUALITY CLAIMS AND INDEPENDENT LABORATORY TESTING

A customer who believes that a delivered product materially fails to meet a specification expressly stated on the applicable Fi50 Certificate of Analysis (“COA”) may submit a documented product-quality claim.

Product-quality concerns should be reported promptly after discovery. Delay that materially prevents reliable verification of product identity, storage conditions, sample integrity, testing methodology, or chain of custody may be considered when determining whether a claim can reasonably be verified, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

A quality claim should include:

  • Customer name.
  • Order number.
  • Product name.
  • Fi50 lot or batch number.
  • Complete independent laboratory report.
  • Identity and contact information of the testing laboratory.
  • Testing methodology.
  • Date of testing.
  • Sample identification.
  • Sample-preparation information.
  • Available chain-of-custody documentation.
  • Relevant storage information.
  • Any chromatograms, spectra, raw analytical data, or supporting documentation reasonably available and relevant to the reported discrepancy.
  • Any other documentation reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

Testing should be conducted by a qualified independent analytical laboratory using appropriate validated or scientifically recognized analytical methods suitable for the relevant specification.

To the extent reasonably possible, a sample submitted in support of a product-quality claim should remain unmodified and should not have been combined, diluted, reconstituted, transferred, or otherwise altered before testing, except when the analytical methodology reasonably requires preparation and that preparation is completely documented.

Fi50 may reasonably:

  • Review the testing laboratory’s qualifications.
  • Review the analytical methodology.
  • Request the complete laboratory report.
  • Request supporting analytical data where reasonably necessary.
  • Review sample-preparation records.
  • Review chain-of-custody information.
  • Review relevant product-storage information.
  • Compare submitted results with Fi50’s applicable COA and original testing documentation.
  • Evaluate a retained sample from the same lot or batch.
  • Obtain or request confirmatory independent analysis where reasonably necessary.

Submission of a laboratory report does not, by itself, establish that a Fi50 product was defective, mislabeled, or out of specification.

Conflicting analytical results may require additional investigation.

If Fi50 verifies that the delivered product materially failed to satisfy an expressly stated specification on the applicable Fi50 COA, Fi50 will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement or refund of the affected product’s purchase price.

Nothing in this section limits a right or remedy available under applicable law.

07 — RESEARCH RESULTS ARE NOT A GUARANTEE OR BASIS FOR REFUND

Research outcomes may vary because of numerous factors outside Fi50’s control, including:

  • Experimental design.
  • Analytical methodology.
  • Equipment.
  • Calibration.
  • Sample preparation.
  • Storage conditions.
  • Handling.
  • Environmental conditions.
  • Other materials used in an experiment.
  • Laboratory technique.
  • Operator technique.
  • Measurement variation.

Except when an independent laboratory quality claim establishes a qualifying product discrepancy, or applicable law otherwise requires a remedy, Fi50 does not provide refunds, replacements, or credits solely because:

  • An experiment produces an unexpected outcome.
  • A purchaser does not obtain an anticipated research result.
  • Research results differ from published, expected, or third-party results.
  • A material is unsuitable for a purchaser’s particular experimental design.
  • A purchaser changes protocols or research methodology.
  • A purchaser lacks appropriate laboratory equipment, training, facilities, or expertise.
  • Results differ between laboratories.
  • Research objectives change after purchase.

Fi50 does not guarantee any particular research result or experimental outcome.

Human, veterinary, therapeutic, clinical, diagnostic, cosmetic, dosing, administration, or other prohibited uses are outside the permitted use of Fi50 research products and do not create additional refund or replacement rights, except where applicable law expressly provides otherwise.

08 — DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

Customers should inspect delivered packages promptly.

When visible carrier damage exists, preserve:

  • The original shipping box or mailer.
  • Internal packaging.
  • Product containers.
  • Shipping labels.
  • Tracking information.
  • Photographs showing the condition of the package and products when received.

Do not discard damaged packaging or products until Fi50 advises that they are no longer needed for investigation.

Fi50 may request information reasonably necessary to investigate the matter or pursue a carrier claim.

The purchaser agrees to provide reasonable cooperation with a carrier or shipping investigation where necessary.

Failure to preserve material evidence may affect Fi50’s ability to verify a claim, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

09 — MISSING, INCORRECT, OR INCOMPLETE ORDERS

If an order contains:

  • An incorrect product.
  • An incorrect quantity.
  • A missing product.
  • Another material fulfillment discrepancy,

notify Fi50 within the seven-day reporting period described above.

Do not open, alter, or use an incorrectly supplied product.

Fi50 may request photographs of:

  • All products received.
  • Shipping package.
  • Internal packaging.
  • Packing documentation.
  • Shipping label.
  • Product labels.

After reasonable verification, Fi50 will provide an appropriate remedy.

10 — PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
  • Providing appropriate unit, suite, apartment, or building information.
  • Monitoring carrier tracking.
  • Arranging timely and secure package retrieval after delivery.

When carrier tracking indicates that a package was delivered to the address supplied by the customer, Fi50 may require the customer to:

  • Inspect the reported delivery location.
  • Check with household members or authorized recipients.
  • Check with neighbors where appropriate.
  • Check with building management, reception, mailroom, or package-room personnel.
  • Contact the carrier.
  • Submit information requested by the carrier.
  • Cooperate with a carrier investigation.

Except where applicable law provides otherwise or investigation establishes a qualifying Fi50 or carrier-related issue for which Fi50 is responsible, Fi50 is generally not responsible for theft, unauthorized removal, deterioration, loss, or damage occurring after confirmed delivery to the address supplied by the purchaser.

11 — INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE SHIPPING INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for verifying shipping information before submitting an order.

Fi50 is generally not responsible for delivery failures, delays, additional carrier charges, returns, or other problems resulting from:

  • An incorrect address supplied by the customer.
  • Missing apartment, suite, unit, floor, building, or company information.
  • Incorrect ZIP code.
  • Incorrect recipient name.
  • Incorrect delivery instructions.
  • Customer-requested forwarding.
  • Customer relocation after shipment.
  • Other inaccurate or incomplete customer-supplied delivery information.

If a shipment is returned to Fi50 because of an address problem attributable to information supplied by the purchaser, Fi50 may deduct reasonable shipping, carrier, return-shipping, or reshipment costs from an otherwise applicable discretionary refund to the extent permitted by law.

Reshipment may require payment of additional shipping charges.

12 — ORDER CANCELLATIONS BEFORE SHIPMENT

Customers requesting cancellation should contact:

info@fi50science.com

as quickly as possible.

Fi50 will generally honor a cancellation request received before the order enters processing or fulfillment.

Cancellation cannot be guaranteed once an order:

  • Has entered fulfillment.
  • Has been packed.
  • Has been transferred for shipment.
  • Has had carrier fulfillment substantially completed.
  • Has physically shipped.

Where applicable law provides a cancellation right, Fi50 will honor that right regardless of the limitations above.

Cancellation of an unfulfilled order by Fi50 does not waive or affect any other provision of this Policy or the Terms & Conditions.

13 — SHIPPING DELAYS AND ORDERS FI50 CANNOT SHIP

Fi50 intends to process and ship orders within the timeframe represented in its Shipping and Delivery Policy, checkout process, or other applicable shipping representation.

If Fi50 learns that an order cannot be shipped within the applicable represented shipping timeframe, Fi50 will handle the delay in accordance with applicable law, including providing any required notice and, where applicable, an opportunity to consent to an eligible revised shipping date or cancel the affected unshipped order for a prompt refund.

If Fi50 determines that an order cannot be fulfilled, Fi50 may cancel it and issue the refund required by applicable law.

Where a complete unshipped order must be refunded, Fi50 will refund amounts required by law, including shipping, processing, handling, or other applicable charges when required.

Fi50 will comply with applicable federal and state requirements governing delayed or unshipped Internet orders and required refunds.

14 — BUYER’S REMORSE AND OTHER GENERALLY NON-REFUNDABLE CONDITIONS

Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Fi50 generally does not provide refunds, replacements, or credits for:

  • Buyer’s remorse.
  • Change of mind.
  • Products no longer wanted.
  • Products purchased accidentally after fulfillment has begun.
  • Duplicate orders caused by customer error once fulfillment has begun.
  • Opened or altered products that do not qualify for a verified quality claim.
  • Products improperly stored after delivery.
  • Products improperly handled after delivery.
  • Products contaminated after delivery.
  • Products transferred into another container.
  • Products combined, diluted, reconstituted, or otherwise modified after delivery.
  • Products used for prohibited purposes.
  • Failure to obtain an expected research result.
  • Purchaser incompatibility with a particular research protocol.
  • Incorrect shipping information supplied by the purchaser.
  • Refused deliveries without Fi50 authorization.
  • Failure to retrieve a package after confirmed delivery.
  • Unauthorized returns.
  • Claims that cannot reasonably be verified.
  • Claims supported by falsified, altered, misleading, or materially incomplete evidence.
  • Readily discoverable shipping or fulfillment claims submitted outside the stated reporting period, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

15 — UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS

Do not return or mail any product to Fi50 without prior written authorization from Fi50.

Sending a product to Fi50 without authorization does not create or guarantee entitlement to:

  • Acceptance of the returned package.
  • Replacement.
  • Refund.
  • Store credit.
  • Reimbursement of shipping charges.

Research products returned without authorization may present contamination, storage, safety, tampering, or chain-of-custody concerns and therefore may be unsuitable for inventory or further distribution.

If Fi50 determines that physical return of a product is necessary, Fi50 will provide appropriate return instructions.

Fi50 is not responsible for unauthorized packages mailed to an address not expressly designated by Fi50 for the applicable return, except to the extent otherwise required by law.

16 — REFUSED AND UNCLAIMED DELIVERIES

Except where a refusal results from a verified shipping or fulfillment error, customers should not refuse delivery without first contacting Fi50.

A refused or unclaimed package does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Where a package is returned because the customer:

  • Refused delivery without authorization.
  • Failed to retrieve the shipment.
  • Supplied incorrect delivery information.
  • Failed to respond to carrier delivery requirements,

Fi50 may deduct reasonable shipping, return-shipping, handling, or carrier charges from any discretionary refund to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Because research materials may be unsuitable for resale after leaving Fi50’s controlled chain of custody, return of a package to Fi50 does not necessarily make the product eligible for restocking or refund.

17 — ORIGINAL SHIPPING AND ORDER-PROCESSING CHARGES

For a discretionary refund after shipment or delivery, original shipping and order-processing charges may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

However, where:

  • Fi50 cancels an entire order before shipment;
  • Fi50 cannot ship the order and applicable law requires cancellation;
  • A material Fi50 fulfillment error requires a complete refund; or
  • Applicable law otherwise requires reimbursement,

Fi50 will refund shipping, processing, handling, or other transaction charges to the extent legally required.

A store credit will not be substituted for a monetary refund where applicable law requires a refund of money.

18 — REFUND PROCESSING

When Fi50 approves a monetary refund, Fi50 will generally submit it to the original payment method within 2–5 business days, unless applicable law requires a different timeframe or method.

Once Fi50 submits a refund, additional processing time may be required by the customer’s:

  • Bank.
  • Credit-card issuer.
  • Payment processor.
  • Card network.
  • Financial institution.

Fi50 does not control the time required for a third-party financial institution to post an approved credit.

A refund is considered submitted by Fi50 when Fi50 has transmitted the applicable refund instruction to its payment processor or otherwise initiated payment through the appropriate refund method.

Nothing in this section extends any shorter refund period required by applicable law.

19 — PARTIAL REFUNDS AND PARTIAL FULFILLMENT

When only part of an order qualifies for refund, Fi50 may refund the amount properly attributable to the affected product or portion of the transaction.

If part of an order is shipped and another portion cannot be fulfilled, any refund of shipping, processing, handling, discounts, or promotional adjustments will be calculated consistent with the applicable transaction terms and applicable law.

Nothing in this section allows Fi50 to retain an amount that applicable law requires to be refunded.

20 — PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

Customers are encouraged to contact Fi50 promptly at:

info@fi50science.com

regarding an order, refund, delivery, or billing issue so Fi50 has an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.

In connection with a lawful payment dispute or chargeback, Fi50 may provide relevant records to:

  • Payment processors.
  • Acquiring banks.
  • Card issuers.
  • Card networks.
  • Financial institutions.
  • Fraud-prevention services.
  • Other entities reasonably involved in resolving the transaction dispute.

Relevant records may include:

  • Order information.
  • Payment records.
  • Account information.
  • Checkout acknowledgments.
  • Customer communications.
  • Carrier tracking.
  • Delivery confirmation.
  • Shipping documentation.
  • Claim documentation.
  • Applicable policies.

Nothing in this Policy restricts a customer’s lawful chargeback or billing-dispute rights.

A customer may not knowingly obtain duplicate recovery for the same transaction through both Fi50 and a payment dispute, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

21 — FRAUD, CLAIM ABUSE, AND FALSE DOCUMENTATION

Fi50 may investigate, suspend, or deny a claim when there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraud.
  • Material misrepresentation.
  • Altered photographs.
  • Falsified or manipulated laboratory reports.
  • Altered analytical data.
  • Product substitution.
  • Manipulated tracking records.
  • Falsified chain-of-custody records.
  • Repeated abusive claims.
  • Misrepresentation of delivery circumstances.
  • Other deceptive conduct.

Fi50 may preserve relevant evidence and may suspend purchasing privileges or account access when reasonably necessary to protect Fi50, its customers, service providers, payment providers, or other parties from fraud or abuse.

Nothing in this provision permits Fi50 to deny a valid statutory claim merely because the customer exercises a lawful consumer, payment-dispute, or other protected right.

22 — EVIDENCE PRESERVATION AND CLAIM VERIFICATION

A purchaser submitting a claim agrees to preserve reasonably relevant evidence until Fi50 advises that it is no longer required.

Such evidence may include:

  • Product.
  • Packaging.
  • Shipping container.
  • Labels.
  • Lot or batch identifiers.
  • Photographs.
  • Tracking records.
  • Laboratory reports.
  • Analytical data.
  • Communications.
  • Other materials reasonably relevant to the claim.

Fi50 may deny a discretionary claim when destruction, modification, contamination, or loss of material evidence makes reasonable verification impossible, provided that Fi50 will not deny a remedy that applicable law requires regardless of such evidence.

23 — LIMITATION OF REMEDIES AND INCORPORATION OF TERMS

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to Fi50’s Terms & Conditions, remedies for an approved claim are limited to the product, order, or transaction giving rise to the verified claim.

Depending upon the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may consist of:

  • Replacement.
  • Refund.
  • Store credit with customer agreement.
  • Another remedy required or permitted by applicable law.

The warranty disclaimers, purchaser responsibilities, assumption-of-risk provisions, limitations of liability, indemnification obligations, and other applicable protections contained in Fi50’s Terms & Conditions are incorporated into this Policy by reference to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If this Policy conflicts with Fi50’s Terms & Conditions regarding an issue specifically governed by this Policy, the more specific provision will control to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability, warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit Fi50 to exclude or limit.

24 — CLAIM RESOLUTION DOES NOT CONSTITUTE AN ADMISSION

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fi50’s decision to provide:

  • A refund.
  • Replacement.
  • Store credit.
  • Reshipment.
  • Courtesy accommodation.
  • Claim settlement.

does not, by itself, constitute an admission of:

  • Product defect.
  • Regulatory violation.
  • Negligence.
  • Fault.
  • Liability.
  • Misrepresentation.
  • Breach of warranty.
  • Any other legal responsibility.

Fi50 may provide a customer-service accommodation without admitting liability.

25 — POLICY DOES NOT AUTHORIZE PROHIBITED USE

A refund, replacement, laboratory investigation, claim review, customer-service communication, or other action by Fi50 does not approve, authorize, encourage, or validate a use prohibited by Fi50’s Terms & Conditions.

Fi50’s handling of a claim does not constitute:

  • Medical advice.
  • Veterinary advice.
  • Pharmaceutical advice.
  • Therapeutic guidance.
  • Clinical guidance.
  • Diagnostic guidance.
  • Dosing advice.
  • Injection advice.
  • Administration guidance.
  • Human or veterinary reconstitution instructions.
  • Authorization for human or veterinary use.

Statements made in connection with claims administration are limited to the commercial and research-material issues involved in the claim.

26 — RESEARCH-USE NOTICE

Research products offered by FI50 ENGINEERED RESEARCH & SCIENCES LLC are intended solely for lawful laboratory research purposes unless Fi50 expressly and accurately identifies a particular product otherwise.

Fi50 research products are not intended for:

  • Human use.
  • Veterinary use.
  • Consumption.
  • Injection.
  • Inhalation.
  • Ingestion.
  • Application to humans or animals.
  • Diagnosis of disease.
  • Treatment of disease.
  • Cure of disease.
  • Mitigation of disease.
  • Prevention of disease.
  • Therapeutic use.
  • Clinical use.

Nothing in this Policy should be interpreted as authorizing a use prohibited by Fi50’s Terms & Conditions.

The processing of a claim relating to a research material does not alter the product’s designated research-use status.

27 — NO MEDICAL, VETERINARY, LEGAL, OR REGULATORY ADVICE

Fi50’s customer-service communications, claims determinations, product-quality investigations, laboratory-document reviews, refunds, replacements, and other communications do not constitute medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, legal, or regulatory advice.

Customers remain responsible for obtaining independent professional guidance concerning their own legal, regulatory, scientific, laboratory, or other obligations.

28 — POLICY CHANGES

Fi50 may modify this Policy prospectively to reflect changes in:

  • Business operations.
  • Products.
  • Shipping practices.
  • Fulfillment practices.
  • Payment processing.
  • Technology.
  • Fraud-prevention practices.
  • Legal or regulatory requirements.

The current Policy will be posted on fi50science.com with an updated Last Updated date.

The version generally applicable to an order will be the version in effect when the order was submitted, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes will not retroactively eliminate a customer right that had already accrued and cannot lawfully be modified.

29 — SEVERABILITY

If a provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

An invalid provision will be limited or interpreted only to the minimum extent reasonably necessary where legally permitted.

30 — GOVERNING TERMS

This Policy forms part of Fi50’s overall contractual terms with purchasers.

Matters not specifically addressed in this Policy remain governed by Fi50’s Terms & Conditions and applicable law.

The governing-law and venue provisions stated in Fi50’s Terms & Conditions apply to this Policy to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
